Multi Season Styling with Navabi - AD

Navabi is a brand that I have always admired for their activism in and for the Plus Size community, launching campaigns around women of all kinds of sizes and having some really beautiful clothes. So when the opportunity arose to be gifted a gorgeous dress how could I turn it down?

I had to pick a dress that I liked, and this vintage looking number really spoke to me. I liked the kind of 70's vibe it gives and the colours are perfect for Autumn. The retro tie wait shirt dress is a dream.
When it arrived I was impressed with the quality, and loved that its not a material that creases easily (ironing is one thing I really hate to do). The length is perfect for wearing with or without tights, depending on the weather and it can be styled up or down depending on the occasion.

I decided to style the dress how I'd wear it to go from day straight into night - maybe with just a little extra jewellery for the evening. But its pretty versatile.
In the Autumn/Winter it is perfect with a pair of tights and boots and maybe a long line cardi for a more layered look, and for Summer - chub rub shorts and a pretty pair of sandals. For a night out, a harness bra and an extra button undone with black tights and heels. The dress really is versatile and thats why I love it - its timeless, with a vintage look and shoulder pads to add a bit of definition (but not so much we travel back to the 80's).

I wore it recently with green tights to give me the perfect confidence to give a speech in front of over 300 people and I bossed it. I find the clothes we wear really do contribute to our confidence and I felt prepared and totally put together in this dress, I rarely feel smart but this goes from smart to casual so nicely.

Styled here with my Snag tights in Colonel Mustard, Primark boots and a cheap belt I felt amazing.

So its official, I am a convert. I love this dress and have worn it loads already. The quality, the style, colours, and everything in between are spot on! Loving Navabi.

How would you style this dress?

The dress in this post was gifted as earlier disclosed, the rest of the items were purchased by myself, I was not paid to write this or instructed that I had to.
